It’s because Warner Bros is utterly and totally afraid of taking any risk along with being generally incompetent, the failure of the Green Lantern movie basically made them run scared from all the other superhero movies they had in some stage of planning (and they actually had a bunch, like they had vague plans for fucking Hawkman, along with Captain Marvel, Flash, Wondy etc.)
That and Marvel basically has its own studio that they have a decent deal of control over, DC does not, everything movie related has to deal with execs who really don’t know superhero’s at the top of pretty much all the decssions.
So I have been watching Justice League on Netflix and I just got to unlimited.

Shayera was probably the most fleshed out character on JL/U, love her to pieces. Unfortunately their Wonder Woman was pretty bland most of the time.
